About

Caroline was raised by hippies on a farm in southeast Missouri. She misspent her youth riding Greyhound buses, smoking cloves and working to erase her Southern accent. Alas, it always comes out at odd moments. The accent. Not the buses or cloves.

A recovering journalist, Caroline lives in Columbia, Mo., with her husband, three children, two dogs and some hens whose numbers vary depending on what animals are running loose in the neighborhood.

This blog is a collection of true stories and observations.

  1. I’ve nominated your blog for a Versatile Blogger Award, which means that I find it as amusing as hell. Thanks for keeping me entertained!

  3. Hello! I’ve nominated you for absolutely nothing, but I wanted to let you know that I just read the Carol post and laughed my head off. (Not literally) I’m rather new to wordpress and I am delighted by all these random things that make me feel oh-so-much-more-normal than I thought I had a right to feel! 🙂

Hi there – I realize you’ve already been nominated at least once, but what the hell – you can never have too many awards right?! It’s a rigorous process to comply with blogger popularity. 😉
Anywho – I have enjoyed reading your adventures and am officially nominating you for The Versatile Blogger award!
You probably know the drill, if you don’t come check out my blog! (I promise I am not trying to shamelessly plug my own blog.)
